For of all the archetypes, the Crone has been so feared because of her power, that she has experienced the harshest punishment and oppression through patriarchal reign. She has been relegated to the old, ugly hag, instead of venerated as wise, powerful wombman. She has been burnt at the stake. Drowned. Tortured.

Whether or not you experienced this in past lives (I know I have), as wombyn, we all carry this collective trauma within our cellular DNA memory.
